LSBC76 Memories Of School Days

They say a picture paints a thousand words. None of us are in the position to recall all our classmates from school days. Hopefully these pictures help. If you do come across more of these pictures, help share them with the rest of us. They remind us of where we have been and the nice time we had.

La Salle Brickfields - Main Entrance - Still remember this famous mural? If I'm not mistaken, Mrs Frederick was the person in charge of this project. Posted by Hello

Yes, that Grand Mural was designed by Mrs Frederics. If I remember correctly, the Mural was drawn by the LSB Class of 75. It was an exceptional piece of Modern Art and set, I think till today, the highest standard for School Murals. Have you seen the types of Murals Government schools come up with these days - totally devoid of any imagination. Unfortunately, today, it is in such a bad state. What is worse, the names fo all the students who worked on the Mural, has been painted over; which is a collosal shame!! I think this proud heritage of our proud past is crying-out to be restored!! Not only that we need to ensure that the names of all those involved in this master piece should also be acknowledged as part of the restoration and returned to their rightful place in the LSB's proud heritage! Lets get it restotred. What do you guys think? GURBACHAN SINGH - CLASS OF 1976
